JobsDB.com opens its office in the Queen City of the South, in response to the growing need for manpower in the rising industries of Cebu especially in the field of business process outsourcing, information technology and education. It aims to extend to Cebu its mission of finding the best talents for the companies, bridging jobseekers and employers together.  

With colorful dances and a warm festival feel, JobsDB.com launched its Cebu office on April 4, 2008 at the Marco Polo Plaza Cebu. Providing excellent performances were the Voice of Cebu Chorale and the South Western University Dance Troupe which set a festive mood with their rendition of the songs, Nais Ko, Byahe Tayo, Hibang sa Awit and Cebu, Cebu.

About 200 business leaders and government officials graced the event including Councilor Eduardo Rama Jr. of Cebu City, Mr Eric Mendoza, President of the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industries and Mr. Bonifacio Belen, Executive Director of Cebu Educational Development Foundation for Information Technology (CEDFIT) who gave their remarks as responses from Cebu. The chairman of JobsDB.com, Mr. Samuel Sung, flew in from Hong Kong and rendered his keynote address.
