From one of our partners in the educational sector:

Greetings from the Pasig City Science High School Family!

We are very much happy to let you know that we won top awards in the recently concluded Division-sponsored IT competition held last September 19, 2007 at the Rizal High School.

The winners are:

PRINCESS ASPURIA (III-Avogradro), 2nd place, Spreadhseet competition
ACHILLES AQUINO (III-Kelvin), 2nd place, Desktop Publishing
MIGUEL FERNANDO (II-Brown), 2nd place, ICT Project Proposal
PAOLO ANTHONY BALADAD (III-Avogadro), 2nd place, Powerpoint contest
JAN MARVI ATIENZA (III-Mendeleev), CHAMPION, Web page design

We are truly grateful for your generosity in donating internet connection to our school. In the weeks leading to the contest, we were really able to maximize the use of the internet as we were downloading the needed graphics and information for these competitions.  Your donation couldn't have come at a better time than this.  Without the internet connection, we would have been thrown in panic trying to look for the pictures and information necessary.

The exciting news is that JAN MARVI ATIENZA, the CHAMPION in Web-page design, will be representing the Division of Pasig City and San Juan in the REGIONAL Web-page design contest.  Should he win, he will be the NCR Region's representative in the NATIONAL Web page design contest.

Thank you once again.  We promise to keep you updated, and to properly use these facilities to give better instruction to our students.

Respectfully yours,

Isabelle B. Sanchez
Head, Computer Department
